Dear coaches,
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend our Lithuanian High School Basketball Invitational Camp. The purpose of this camp is to showcase some of our local players that are interested in playing basketball at the collegiate level, as well as expose some top-ranked prospects from Lithuania also interested in pursuing a collegiate career in the United States.
The camp will be conducted in Lemont, Illinois at the Lithuanian Center Gymnasium on July 14th & 15th, as well as July 22nd & 23d.
The camp is being sponsored by Lituanica a traveling basketball club comprised of American-Lithuanians based out of the Lithuanian Center in Lemont. Lituanica has been in existence for over 10 years, and a number of our players have gone on to play at the collegiate level, as well as professionally in Europe.
We expect to have between 60 and 80 prospects participating at our camp. The majority of these players are from the Chicago vicinity. There will, however, be prospects from New York, Michigan, Florida, and Canada. In addition, several players who have participated on various National Junior’s teams from Lithuania will be in attendance as well.
We are encouraging all college coaches to take advantage of this unique opportunity. Please contact us if you plan on attending or need more information.
